August Break Hiatus

It’s already August and I can’t believe summer is halfway over, YIKES!… and DOUBLE YIKES!!! because I’ll be entering my junior year- THE toughest and hardest and worst year of my entire high school life as everyone warns me. Are my parents being overdramatic and trying to scare me or is this coming school year really doom for me? Well, if true, I’m thinking wouldn’t it make more sense for me to take this last month off and relax and enjoy before my nightmare begins?! I strongly believe. So, I’m going to take a short hiatus from blogging. So I will finish up my summer school assignments, take my SAT US History exam, complete my summer intern project, and of course, continue my training before I leave for National Solo Dance in several weeks. In between all this, I’m hoping to find some time to rest and relax and enjoy???

Please don’t think I don’t enjoy blogging; in fact, I love it as much as I love skating and as much as I love eating a delicious juicy Shake Shack double cheeseburger with its special secret ShackSauce. Actually, I spend too many hours trying to improve and make my blog successful, thinking of ideas and finding ways to provide quality content to my readers and making my site look pretty. Unfortunately, I should really be allocating this time to my other less enjoyable activities.

Before I sign off, I want to thank my fellow skaters and parents for giving me a send-off party for national solo dance. The cake was so amazingly beautiful and incredibly delish! I really appreciate everyone’s thoughtfulness and a sincere thank you for your wonderful support! Have a great rest of summer and I’ll see my students next month when our new fall Learn-to-Skate classes begin. Of course, I’m always around so text/email/snapchat/call if you ever need to get in touch with me- I can always use a study break and would love to meet up and spend some fun time with my students on a public skate session.
